Welcome to our very last term of the year! It has been a great year and I am very sad that it is coming to an end. I have enjoyed getting to know all the students, teaching them to dance, seeing their progress and watching them blossom into beautiful dancers. A big thank you to all the parents for your amazing support to!
Dates for the year
- Term 4 finish – Friday 2nd December
- Stage rehearsal and Ticket Selling – Friday 18th November – 4:30pm – Pacific Hills Christian School (everyone must arrive at 4:30pm for a 4:45pm start and you may leave after you have performed all your routines)
- Dress rehearsal – 7th – 11th November in class time
- Photo day – Saturday 19th November – timetable to come – William Clarke College (must only be here for your photo, not the whole day)
- Concert and photo purchasing – Saturday 3rd December – 4pm – 6pm – Pacific Hills Christian School (students must arrive at 3:30pm)
No Parent’s week this term
Due to the concert, there is no parent’s week for term 4.
Stage rehearsal
The stage rehearsal is on Friday the 18th November, at Pacific Hills in the MPC. Please arrive at 4:30pm sharp. This will allow students 15 minutes to find their class lines and sit in assigned seats. We ask that parents please stay and supervise your own children.
We will be running through the whole concert, the finale first and then all other dance routines in order. EVERYONE MUST ATTEND, as it is very important for the students to understand how the concert will work and to practice on the stage. Normal dance attire should be worn.
Photos
This year we have our beautiful backdrop photos again on the 19th November in the PA Hall at William Clarke College. A timetable for the day will be released soon.
There is a foyer area where parents and students will wait, as it is too chaotic and distracting for parents and students to be in the hall while the photographer is working. The photographer will take professional individual and group photos for each routine your child is in.
These can be purchased at the concert with CASH ONLY for $12 each or 3 or more becomes $10 each. We also have the photography company coming to the concert to take action shots of the students on stage and these can be purchased online after the concert for $7 each (info to come later).
Dress Rehearsal
Dress rehearsal in class time will be 7th – 11th November. Please wear your costume, including tan body stocking, stockings and shoes. Please come with hair and make up done if possible.
Ticket Selling – TICKETS WILL NOT BE SOLD AT THE CONCERT THIS YEAR
Ticket selling for the concert will be Friday 18th November 4:30pm at Pacific Hills during the stage rehearsal. This will be the only opportunity to purchase tickets, tickets will not be sold in class time or at the door at the concert. Tickets are $25 for adults (13 years and above) and $15 for children (1 years – 12 years old). Cash only – please bring the correct amount of cash for the tickets you need. There will be no refunds for change of mind.
